Will a transplant stop my hair loss?
No. A transplant moves DHT-resistant follicles into thinning areas — it restores density where it's placed, but the surrounding native hair carries on receding unless you treat the underlying process. That's why we plan maintenance medication alongside surgery, not after it.
Am I too young for a transplant?
Possibly. Transplanting early in an aggressive pattern can produce a result that looks wrong in a decade, as the hair behind it recedes and leaves an island. For younger men we often recommend stabilising medically first and revisiting surgery once the pattern is clearer.
Does growth-factor therapy for hair actually work?
