Overview

RestoreX is a medical-grade penile-traction device developed in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic. Worn for short daily sessions at home, it applies gentle, controlled traction that gradually reduces the curvature of Peyronie’s disease and helps restore length lost to Peyronie’s, prior surgery or trauma — without surgery or injections.

Its patented counter-bending mechanism lets your physician direct the traction against your specific curve, so the correction is targeted. It’s a non-invasive option you use yourself, on your own schedule — and a simpler routine than older traction devices that needed several hours a day.

What it helps with

RestoreX is a penile traction device that applies controlled stretching. Clinical studies have evaluated its use to improve penile curvature and length in men with Peyronie’s disease, and to preserve or improve stretched penile length after prostatectomy.

Who may benefit?

  • Men with Peyronie’s disease: RestoreX may help reduce associated penile curvature and improve penile length, including recovery of some lost length.
  • Selected men after prostatectomy: RestoreX may be considered as part of rehabilitation, following assessment and clearance by the treating clinician.

For men seeking cosmetic lengthening without these conditions, the studies below do not establish equivalent benefits. A consultation is needed to discuss suitability and realistic expectations.

Results vary and are not guaranteed. Temporary discomfort, redness, or altered sensation can occur. Follow the device instructions and your clinician’s advice.

How it works

Traction
Gentle, controlled traction is applied along the shaft for short daily sessions.
Counter-bend
A patented counter-bending mechanism directs the force against your specific curve.
Remodel
Over weeks of consistent use, the tissue gradually straightens and lengthens.

RestoreX is backed by published clinical research (BJU International) and is CE-marked. Your physician confirms whether it’s right for you.

How you use it, step by step

  1. Consultation & assessmentYour physician examines your curvature and history and confirms whether RestoreX is suitable for you.
  2. Fitting & instructionWe fit the device to you and show you exactly how to use it safely, and how to set the tension against your curve.
  3. Daily sessions at homeYou use it for short daily sessions — typically one or two 30-minute sessions a day. Your doctor confirms your personal plan.
  4. Review & adjustWe review your progress over the treatment course and adjust the plan as your curve improves.

What to expect

Comfort: the traction is gentle and set by your doctor. Most men find it comfortable and use it while relaxing at home. No anaesthetic and no downtime.

Over the weeks: RestoreX works gradually — curvature and length improve over months of consistent daily use, not overnight. Consistency is what makes the difference.

Alongside other care: it’s often used together with our regenerative Peyronie’s treatments; your doctor will plan the timing so they complement each other.

Clinical evidence

1. Peyronie’s disease: randomized controlled trial, 2019

In a trial involving 110 men, RestoreX use for 30–90 minutes daily over three months produced an average length increase of 1.5 cm versus 0 cm without treatment. Average curvature decreased by 11.7° with RestoreX, compared with an increase of 1.3° in controls. These are study averages, not promised individual outcomes.

2. Peyronie’s disease: extended outcomes, 2020

The open-label and follow-up phases of the same trial reported additional length improvements and ongoing benefits in some participants. This publication follows the original study population; it is not a separate independent trial.

3. Length preservation and recovery after prostatectomy: randomized controlled trial, 2021

This study enrolled 82 men, with six-month results available for 55 participants. Reported stretched penile length changes were +1.6 cm with traction versus +0.3 cm in controls. These findings apply to men after prostatectomy and should not be interpreted as expected cosmetic lengthening results in healthy men.
